We accept standard CAD formats including STL (.stl), STEP (.step / .stp), OBJ (.obj), IGES (.igs), and 3MF (.3mf). Files can be uploaded directly via our Instant Quote tool up to 100MB.

Accepted Answer

Standard lead time for DMLS metal printing (Titanium, Stainless Steel 316L, Inconel) is 3-5 business days. Express 24-48 hour production dispatch is available upon request.

What dimensional tolerances can Galactic 3D guarantee?

Accepted Answer

For DMLS metal parts, standard tolerances are ±0.05 mm or ±0.2% (whichever is greater). For SLS Nylon powder printing, tolerances are ±0.1 mm. Precision CNC post-machining is available for critical bearing surfaces down to ±0.005 mm.

Accepted Answer

Yes. Galactic 3D operates under certified ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems and AS9100D Aerospace standards. CMM dimensional inspection reports and material test certificates (MTC) are included upon request.
